“I did attend NCCWSL and enjoyed it very much. I am grateful to AAUW-CT for funding my (virtual) attendance at the conference. Part of me was worried about there not being anything to appeal to me as someone in a non-STEM field; however, that was not the case. There were panels on a large variety of important topics such as allyship and even self-defense. Additionally, there were some incredibly inspirational speakers at the conference, including a few writers. I was also blown away by the sheer scope of the conference which allowed me to connect with people from all over the country.”
